AL SON

Al son es una pieza creada por y para mujeres, en la que pretendo hacer mi pequeña aportación para homenajear y dar visibilidad a la historia de aquellas a las que se les ha negado tener voz propia. Mujeres invisibles cuyo testimonio de vida ha sido diluido en el anonimato y también a las rebeldes, aquellas que consiguieron alcanzar sus sueños y, sin embargo, fueron borradas de la memoria colectiva, en muchos casos, por su simple condición de mujer.

Sirva esta pieza para rendir mi humilde tributo a todas esas mujeres y al mismo tiempo sirva de revulsivo para que las que vivimos el presente sigamos adelante, liberándonos de la opresión, también existente en nuestra sociedad actual para, juntas, tomar aliento y continuar avanzando hacia un camino de liberación, aceptación, libre elección y consecución de nuestros propios sueños.

«Al son» is a piece created by and for women, in which I aim to make my small contribution to honor and bring visibility to the history of those who have been denied their own voice. Invisible women whose life testimonies have been diluted in anonymity, and also to the rebels, those who managed to achieve their dreams and yet were erased from collective memory, in many cases, simply because they were women.

May this piece serve as my humble tribute to all these women and at the same time serve as a catalyst for those of us who live in the present to move forward, freeing ourselves from the oppression that also exists in our current society, to, together, take a breath and continue advancing towards a path of liberation, acceptance, free choice, and achievement of our own dreams.
