A Palo Seco se presenta como el primer espectáculo en solitario de Sara Cano, en el que la investigación y la experimentación son las bases usadas para reformular su danza, concebida entre lo visceral de lo español y lo conceptual de lo contemporáneo, una danza más allá de la etiquetas, genuina y personal.

 

* Este espectáculo ha recibido tres candidaturas a los Premios Max de las Artes Escénicas 2016 en tres categorías diferentes: Mejor Intérprete Femenina de Danza, Mejor Coreografía y Espectáculo Revelación. Ha realizado importantes giras internacionales  entre las que destaca su presencia en la Amsterdam Biennale o el Festival Flamenco de Dusseldorf.  Tiene prevista su presentación en Flamenco Festival de NY.[/vc_column_text][vc_button title=»DESCARGAR DOSSIER» target=»_blank» size=»btn-large» expanded=»true» href=»http://esmanagement.es/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Dossier-DEF-A-PALO-SECO.pdf»][/vc_column][vc_column width=»1/2″][vc_column_text]“A Palo Seco” [‘Straight Out’] is the name of my first individual show, in which I take to the stage for the first time as a performer and choreographer. Through it, I attempt to embark on a journey of personal soul searching, in which research and experimentation are at the foundation used to reformulate my dance, conceived from the visceral aspects of Spanish dance and the conceptual aspects of contemporary dance. Beyond categorisation, it is a genuine and personal dance. 

 

* This show has received three nominations for the Max Awards for the Performing Arts 2016 in three different categories: Best Female Dance Performer, Best Choreography and Revelation Show. He has made important international tours including its presence at the Amsterdam Biennale or the Dusseldorf Flamenco Festival. It´s programed to be presented at the Flamenco Festival in NY.
